Sergio is an architect with postgraduate studies in Urban and Regional Planning, with a specialization in Geographic Information Technologies.
He’s on the Advisory Board of GeoForAll
OSGeo Foundation Charter Member
He coordinates the gvSIG Batoví project (a GIS -Geographic Information System- software applied to educational environments with destination to the Plan Ceibal -OLPC initiative for Uruguay-, based on gvSIG)
