Biography
Tim is the QGIS Board Chair and a Director of Kartoza. He has been a participant of the QGIS Project since 2003 where he has been a key proponent in the growth and development of the project into the successful and popular desktop GIS application that it is today. A resident of South Africa, Tim is involved in the OSGEO-Africa chapter and was on the LOC for the 2008 FOSS4G event in Cape Town, South Africa and the upcoming 2018 FOSS4G event in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Tim is also an active participant in the South African QGIS User Group.
