AppGeo

Applied Geographics, Inc. (AppGeo, www.AppGeo.com) is devoted to solving problems and creating insights using geospatial Information Technology (geospatial IT). Founded in 1991, AppGeo has been deploying and building solutions with Open Source geospatial tools since 2008 and our use of these tools and the proportion of our business involving these tools has increased every year.  We have Open Sourced several pieces of our own work and our staff have contributed to numerous projects on GitHub. Representative of this experience, AppGeo has designed, implemented and hosts Open Source GIS mapping services for over 100 clients across the United States. We also (a) advise clients on approaches and architectures for implementing OSGIS at an enterprise level, (b) assist them in integrating commercial systems with Open Source components, and (c) help them to plan and support their migration strategies.
