Azavea is a B Corporation that has more than twenty years of experience creating and contributing to open source libraries as well as engineering and supporting applications based on open source technologies. We do this work in an array of domains that include: climate change, ecosystems, water, infrastructure management, supply chains, elections, and land planning.
Azavea has particular expertise with PostGIS; raster and vector data processing libraries that include GeoTrellis, Franklin, GeoMesa, GDAL, PySTAC, and RasterFrames; various JavaScript frameworks; and web development frameworks such as Django.
